Part four of our look back at season nine of South Park is ready to burn rubber people! As we clamber backwards through the all of the past seasons, offering our top picks for six best clips from each season, we find ourselves dug in the middle of season nine. This time around it’s from an episode called, “Free Willzyx.” When Cartman is convinced that a whale can talk and is actually from the moon, he jumps into action to save the stranded animal and fly him back to outer space.

Wild, Original Plot Compliments this Episode
Most of the time South Park centers their brand of humor based upon popular culture news and events. But this time around the show decided to take its own turns by offering an extremely original plot for all to enjoy. Although, the episode is based upon – and does borrow here and there from – the smash hit late 90s major motion picture, “Free Willy.” At the same time, this blogger thinks that the creators of the show were really looking for a way to make fun of unconventional animal rights activists that really come off looking more like terrorists in the end.

Cartman Tries to Something Good for all the Wrong Reasons
While this episode offers originality to say the least, it does also feature an extremely rare moment in South Park history: Cartman doing something nice, and not for his own personal gains. I know, that is pretty darn rare huh? While this episode offers all around and balanced laughs for all, the best part is that Eric is so stupid he actually embarks on a quest to kidnap a whale from a water park…and cart it all the way to Mexico so he can rent a rocket ship to transport it to the moon, where he believes whales come from!

Laugh-Out-Loud ‘Willzyx's Problems’ Clip Below – Must See
What happens when a talking whale – that is not really a talking whale – pleas for the help of the stupidest, most arrogant and racist kid in all of South Park? He (Eric Cartman) believes every word that he hears. In the clip below, watch one dumb ass Eric Cartman believe that whales can talk, that they are actually from the moon where they live in moon castles, and that they need to be sprung free from the water park so they can fly on a rocket ship back home…to the moon!
