We are back, and ready to come at you with the fifth installment of the best six clips from season nine. This time around it’s another racial slur, and can you guess who is behind it? If you thought Eric Cartman, you get a gold star. While this episode is not nearly the most notorious, it does serve to cement the figure of hatred and ignorance that is Eric Cartman firmly in place. If you take the time to watch the awesome clip at the end of this article, you will see exactly what I mean. Just another side note: watch the freaking clip it is really darn tooting funny people!

Why ‘Ginger Kids’ was a Groundbreaking Episode
There are a few reasons why this episode breaks ground, even for South Park. All other races and stereotypes in the show, and religions for that matter, had for the most part been roasted by Parker and Stone. However, they never had touched on this topic whatsoever. So it seems only fitting that they fit gingers into the picture somewhere. On a personal note, I found it impressive that they even thought about this stereotype. When I first watched this episode I was wondering, “What the hell are Ginger Kids?”

Do You Think They Were Poking Fun at Cheesy Thriller/Horror Movies?
This episode seems to borrow here and there from so many classic horror and thriller movies that it would be nearly impossible to list them all. Think Steven King and you will have the right idea in mind, namely the movie, “Children of the Corn.” A particular scene in this episode depicts eerie Ginger Kids roaming the streets of South Park at night, kidnapping normal kids who are not red-haired and freckled. The kids even break into their homes and bind their wrists, taking them back to the airport Hilton, where Cartman has a mass genocide planned for them.

If you were to take the mind of Adolph Hitler and merge it with the body of a tubby, supple eight year old boy who has mother and father issues and is inherently retarded, you would have Eric Cartman. But, when the boys turn him into his most hated ethnic nemesis, a Ginger kid, Cartman instead unites the Gingers under his Red Power banner and strives to purge mankind of all whiteys. What else would you expect from Cartman? This awesome clip below explains his demented thought process perfectly.
