We are finally at the halfway point of our next series of clip reviews – for best of clips from each season – and this time we have another great episode for you all, “Cartoon Wars 2.” This is the continuation of the first episode, where Cartman and Kyle decided to head to LA to stop the major TV networks from airing an episode of Family Guy that would depict an uncensored image of the Muslim prophet Mohammed. If you didn’t read the first post in this series of the best six clips from season 10, then you really should go backwards first, because it made our first pick (the first part of this two part episode) for best clips from the tenth season.
The Continuation of “Cartoon Wars”
Trey Parker and Matt Stone (the show’s creators) must have had too much food for thought when they made this two-part series. The second episode is actually the funnier of the two. Cartman arrives in LA to convince the major TV networks that if they air an episode of Family Guy, and don’t remove the show from the air forever, terrorists will continue to attack US soil. Posing as a little crippled boy named Danny Pocket, Cartman is nearly about to convince the TV executives, when his nemesis, Kyle, shows up to save the day. It is seemingly apparent that this two-part series was really just an attempt by South Park to bash its rival, Family Guy. And they do it oh so well!
Osama Ben Laden Gets Pissed Off at Family Guy
Interweaved throughout the two episodes of Cartoon Wars are some real life clips of the most wanted terrorist in the world, Osama Ben Laden. Taking real video clips of him, South Park adds their own subtitles beneath, making the leader of Taliban out to be a real idiot. At the end of the episode, the terrorists wreak their havoc in the form of an animated video that depicts then US president, George Bush, pooping on everything in sight.
Watch the Best Clip Part Three from Season 10, “Slap Fight”
This is the funniest clip from Cartoon Wars 2 of the tenth season of South Park. Kyle finally confronts Eric for screwing him over, lying to him, and trying to get his favorite TV show pulled from off the air. What ensues is a hilarious slap fight that Eric ultimately loses in the end.
