Cartman Tries to Become Hitler! (“The Passion of the Jew”)
It seems that there will never be a person that is free of the bantering and roasting that only South Park can truly provide. Mel Gibson is just an easy target anyways. He is racist. He is anti-Semitic and he has a drinking problem. After the movie “The Passion of the Christ” where Gibson makes out the Jews to be the worst people on the planet earth, and then followed that up with drunken tirade publicly…can you really blame South Park for bashing him as they did in the hit episode, “The Passion of the Jew?” Me either, and if you ask me, Gibson had it coming, he really did!
Why Cartman is Such as Bastard!
If you think about it, Eric Cartman’s life and his loneliness are what surmounts to his terrible antics. His mother is a crack whore, who is also a hermaphrodite that impregnated herself and out came Cartman. Essentially, Eric Cartman is a product of incest between his mother and herself…if that makes any sense. So along that line of thinking, it does seem acceptable that he would be so evil, and spawned from something so wrong. Besides, what would the show be like without Eric Cartman? I know: the show would really suck!
Is Anything Off Limits for this Show?
In answer to my own question: not really as they (South Park) have already demonstrated over thirteen seasons. If there is someone to bash they will do it. If a social issue is much talked about, it will be discussed and torn apart on their show. Trey Parker and Matt Stone (makers of the show) are actually quite powerful in the sense that they can take anything from popular culture or the news and make it a mainstay on their show. At the same time they can express how they feel to masses…this blogger is most certainly jealous!
Cartman Dresses Like Hitler!
In this hilarious clip – one of the best of Eric Cartman if you ask me – Cartman decides that Mel Gibson is God and that he has called upon him to become the next Hitler and take over the world, as he prays to a Braveheart poster on his wall. Ready for his first speech, Cartman double-checks his Hitler outfit in the mirror before heading outside to preach hate to the many!
