South Park’s Mid-Season Finale: ‘Fatbeard’ Instant Hit!
Leave to Trey Parker and Matt Stone to offer us a timeless South Park hit for the ages nearly every single time that they hit the mid-season finale of their awesome show that has really forged its place in stone and in comedic history on Comedy Central’s network! Much like Fox has Family Guy or American Dad, South Park is totally Comedy Centrals baby…and one has a good mind to think that they will never let something this good ever go.
The Episode in a Nutshell!In so many words this episode is greatness at its finest for the show! It features the always fun to watch star, Eric Cartman, who after reading about Somalia pirates hijacking ships, decides to form his own brigade of treasure seekers. Clive, Butters, Ike and Cartman depart for the waters of Somalia. Once there they learn the trades of pirates after being held ransom by them originally. When Kyle decides to find where his brother went off to, he is also taken hostage by Cartman and company. But the episode bodes a hilarious ending that leaves off suddenly. I can’t ruin it – just watch it – it is imbedded at the bottom of this article!
Finally Back to the Basics for South Park!For a bit there it seemed that this show veered off the path that made it so great. That path being always poke fun at popular culture and news ridden subjects. This time around they choose to make fun of Somalia and the current pirate infestation there. They could not have hit the nail any harder on the head. Parker and Stone are back baby!
