What would ever happen if the world was to run out of internet? Would people go crazy? Would there be massive chaos? Well this must have been what was running through the minds of Trey Parker and Matt Stone when they wrote the script for this classic episode in season 12, “Overlogging.” This episode easily makes our top pick for one of the more memorable episodes of the 12th season because it offers some drop down laughs and because the plot is so hysterical. If you really think about it, South Park is right…the world would turn massively chaotic if there were suddenly to be no more internet. How would we function?

Randy is Quickly Becoming a Mainstay in Newer Episodes
Speaking of the world, what would the world of South Park be like void of the one and only Randy Marsh? If you have not taken notice as of late, about four seasons back, Randy Marsh is becoming a more used character in which feature episodes center their plot on his antics. For example, Season 12 has several episodes that use Randy as the frontline including a two part series called “The Startling.” Whereas Cartman is a diabolical, evil maniac, Randy is that lovable, naïve idiot that makes for the perfect centerpiece of many newer episodes!

Randy is One Half, The Other Half is the Marsh Family
But don’t get confused on me here. Randy’s antics are only one half of the reason as to why he is a great mainstay for the show. His family and their responses to his crap are the other half of the equation. For example, when Randy mutters a racial slur about black people on Wheel of Fortune to the entire world, his family’s response is just classic. Case and point: expect to see many more future episodes that feature Randy as the lead character in the plot development.

When the Marsh family finds themselves, at the beckoning of Randy Marsh, in California trying to find some internet, Randy is dying to masturbate to porn but can’t find any. He is confronted by a fellow who tells him about an internet porn simulator that is nearly identical to the real thing, and that will allow him to finally relieve the tension in his testicles!
